In an interaction with the media, head of public affairs at CHRAJ, Comfort Akosua Edu, reveals that her outfit has already begun looking into the matter and interrogated high-ranking government officials, including former Interior Minister, Mark Wayongo and that significant progress have been made.

So far, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called for the impeachment of the president following revelations into the alleged scandal as motion forwarded by the minority in parliament got dismissed by the speaker of parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho, who directed minority members to rather seek redress at CHRAJ.
