The electoral commission (EC) has opened vacancies for unemployed graduates across Ghana ahead of the December elections.
The commission reveals that all district and regional offices have been opened to receive the applications of interested graduates as head of communications at the EC, Eric Dzakpasu, hints that candidates with some experience in elections will have a higher advantage of getting employed.
The move by the electoral commission follows concerns raised by the Unemployed Graduates Association of Ghana (UGAG) and the Unemployed Teachers Association that the EC to considers them as collation officers during the elections.
