Former president John Agyekum Kufuor has entreated Ghanaian voters to “give the New Patriotic Party (NPP) a chance” ahead of the general elections stating that the opposition party has what it takes to transform Ghana.
Speaking during a public lecture on Ghana's economy by NPP's vice presidential nominee, Mahamadu Bawumia, the former president argued that the solution to Ghana's ailing economy was in the hands of Mahamadu Bawumia.
"NPP doesn't need to issue a manifesto for the 2016 elections. Dr Bawumia has said it all. The mark of a great leader is one who is able to pick people like Bawumia," Kufuor stated.
Mahamadu Bawumia, in the lecture themed; “the state of the Ghanaian economy, a foundation of concrete or straw” made some shocking revelations about Ghana’s economy arguing that former president Mills was far better that President Mahama.
