Ghanaian rapper A Plus, known for his controversial music and blunt lyrics has said that he is disappointed in the Kwesi Pratt for some remarks made about his new song against the NDC, 'Aben Be Bom.'
The managing editor of The Insight newspaper reportedly commented on the song stating it was mainly based on hearsays, and that the artiste was unfair in the descriptions of the personalities mentioned in the song.
Speaking to Pluss FM, A Plus reacted to the remarks by the journalist, exclaiming he could not understand why the journalist made such comments especially since the journalist supported him when he was almost sued for releasing similar songs in the past.
According to A Plus, “I’m a bit disappointed that Mr. Pratt is somebody who supported some of the songs I did about people where there were no facts. He gave me a lawyer when some people wanted to go to court. It gets to a point where I’m saying something about someone who has not even threatened to go to court, and you’re asking where the facts are. Where were the facts when you were finding me a lawyer?”
He further added that he still had respect for the man and taking out the politics factor, still liked him a great deal.
A Plus's song, according to the rapper, has been a big hit since it was released earlier last week. The artiste stated that song tells the people how frustrated the citizens are and it raises true concerns of the people. Listen to the song here:
