The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is predicting that its main rival, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will lose votes in the Ashanti region ahead of the December elections.
Campaign manager for the NDC in the region, Alexander Ackon, argues that there is just no way the NPP could win massive votes in the Ashanti region come the December elections revealing that: "the terrain is difficult for NPP".
The prediction by the ruling party follows counter assertions by the chairman of the opposition party, Freddie Blay, that his party will garner 90% of the votes in the Ashanti region come the December elections. Also,
