Montie FM's Mugabe promises "more fire" on his return to radio

Once bitten, twice shy may not apply to Montie FM presenter, Salifu Maase, also known as Mugabe.

The radio host was, until his presidential pardon from John Mahama, incarcerated for this contemptuous comments against the judges of Ghana's Supreme Court.

Mugabe, with two others, were sentenced to a three-month jail term but were set free after a pardon from the president a month into their sentence.

Speaking at the launch of the campaign of Awutu Senya West Member of Parliament Hannah Tetteh on Sunday, the strong-headed radio host promised "more fire" to his avid listeners on Tuesday, when he takes the seat behind the microphone.

People will hear sounds in Ghana,” he promised the teeming supporters.

The charismatic show host, went on to eulogise Hannah Tetteh, highlighting how the Minister had given a good account of herself since assuming the reins at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
