The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential nominee, Nana Akufo-Addo has also picked up the nomination form from the Electoral Commission to contest the presidential elections in December.
The NPP’s acting general secretary, John Boadu picked up the form on the flag bearer’s behalf on Wednesday, September 14 at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
The NPP now joins the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ghana Freedom Party and flagbearer of the Independent People’s Party (IPP) who have all picked the presidential forms.
The deadlines for the submission of the forms are the 29th and 30th of September, 2016 for the presidential and parliamentary.
Meanwhile, Mr Boadu complained about the filing fee, saying the GHS 50,000 required of presidential aspirants and GHS 10,000 for MP nominees was excessive.
