The main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) alleges that President Mahama photocopied the ideas of their flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo in the highlights of the NDC manifesto.
General secretary of the NPP, John Boadu, says all that the president said during his presentation of NDC's manifesto highlights were clear ideas of the opposition NPP.
According to John Boadu; “Nana decided that our manifesto will take care of the western north. What did we hear from the NDC? That we want to divide the western region. Now they’re saying that they are going to divide regions into five more regions”.
The highlight of the NDC manifesto is categorized in four thematic areas with "putting people first; social services and human resources" being the leading agenda of the party ahead of the December elections.
