The founder of Heaven's Gate ministries revealed to Onua FM in Accra that all is set for him to pick nomination forms at the electoral commission just so he could contest the elections. Kumchacha says he is ready to pay the GH¢50,000.00 filing fees and contest the elections with a high hope of forming the next government and changing the fortunes of Ghana for the best.
The man of God also reveals that his party, Jesus Party (JP), has offices in Accra and Kumasi. It is however not clear if his party has received certificate from the Electoral Commission.
Should he succeed in standing for president, Kumchacha will go down in history as the only pastor ever to have vied for a presidential candidacy in Ghana.
