Hassan Ayariga, the flag bearer of the All People's Party (APC) has said that the government of Ghana is filled with more armed robbers than anywhere around. He said this in an interview on TV3's political program, The Platform.
According to the presidential aspirant, the fight against armed robbers should be targeted at the root. He said, "The first thing is to find out what the course problem is. You don’t tackle from the top. If you tackle from the top, you’d kill everybody because we have more armed robbers the system than those out there."
"we have not drawn any policy to absorb them [youth]. The armed robbers are your brothers, your fathers and your uncles. We will design special initiatives to make sure that Ghana’s young men and women work effectively" he further added.
Hassan Ayariga, who is making his attempt at the presidency also said that the key to combating corruption is through the creation of jobs and youth empowerment.
The Platform is a political program on TV3 that is geared at giving the flagbearers of the various political parties the opportunity to explain their policies and their roles in the coming 2016 general election.
