NPP’s Policy Adviser for the 2016 campaign, Boakye Agyarko, argues that Mahama has underperformed since taking office

The NPP at a press conference themed, “Promises made, promises broken”, argues that the NDC administration has not lived up to their expectation over the past four years in office especially its handling of the economy.

At the media briefing in Accra, the NPP insisted that NDC’s 2016 campaign manifesto was empty and “a future of promises, lies, excuses and more broken promises.”

Also, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo, has described the NDC as a confused party with no clarity on the source of ideas for its manifesto. According to the presidential aspirant, some members of the NDC in their attempt to debunk allegations that their manifesto ideas were copied from the NPP, ended up admitting that the NPP did have good ideas.
