A video has been captured of President Mahama randomly distributing cash to some traders during his campaign tour of the Greater Accra region.
A careful look at the video sees the president stop his campaign truck, signal his security apparatus to give way to selected traders who he engages in a short conversation with and subsequently gift them with "cash".
The action by the president raises concerns over vote buying ahead of the presidential election. Meanwhile, the campaign team of the president is yet to comment on this development.

Meanwhile, the chief of staff at the presidency, Julius Debrah, has argued that the president was rather distributing the manifesto of the NDC to the selected traders.
