Akua Donkor's phone rings at EC with NDC campaign song

It was a mixture of surprise and laughter when the mobile phone of the presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, rang with a political song of the NDC.

3news reports that ringtone, "Dumsor is Dead", rang loudly in the presence of political party representatives and executives at the electoral commission (EC) headquarters in Accra.

Akua Donkor has justified the use of the NDC song as her ringtone explaining that President Mahama is her son hence there is nothing wrong to use a song touting his achievement.

She further said her use of that song clearly demonstrate the peace and unity Ghanaians have been preaching among all political parties ahead of this year’s December 7 general elections stating that her party, the GFP, is hinged on peace and love.
