Ghana and three other countries have been named as top seeds for AFCON 2017 in Gabon.
This means Ghana will avoid to ranked sides like Algeria, Ivory Coast and host Gabon in the final draw that will come off on October 19.
According to CAF, it settled on the top seeds based on the performance of qualified countries for the last three Nations Cups and last two World Cups.
Ghana would draw one of Tunisia, Mali, Burkina Faso or Congo DR from Pot B. Pot C comprise of Egypt, Morocco, Senegal and Cameroon.
The final pot, D includes neighbours Togo, debutants Guinea-Bissau, Uganda who are making a return to the competition after a 38-year absence and Zimbabwe.
