Kumawood superstar Kofi Adu, popular known as Agya Koo has slammed his colleagues in the movie industry who have openly declared their support for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The actor who recently swore his service and devotion to making the New Patriotic Party seizes power in the upcoming 2016 general elections, said that those who chose to stand by President John Mahama are as good as they can be when they are asleep.
Speaking as a guest on Ashh Fm's National Agenda earlier this week, Agya Koo challenged the actors to “show their faces” in serious campaigns to prove they are committed to cause of the NDC.
"We are challenging those stars to come out boldly and show their colours if they really love the president," he stated.
Among several creative arts stakeholders who have openly endorsed the NDC and the candidature of President Mahama in Kumasi are actor and movie director Asare Bediako, Producer Mike Kwaku Ola, Tracey Boakye, Sylvester Agyapong among others.
Agya Koo urged the President and the NDC to retrieve all the items they have given to these stars because they are not working.
He said, "These stars are not helping the president campaign in Kumasi, so it will be good for the president to retrieve all the items he has given to them."
