I will be the next president of Ghana- Kofi Akpaloo

The flagbearer of the Independent People's Party (IPP) Kofi Akpaloo has stressed his optimism about his win in the upcoming December polls. He declared that he is the next president of Ghana, and he was certainly going to win the elections. He made this declaration in an interview Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow FM.

According to Mr. Akpaloo, like the biblical character John the Baptist, the current president of Ghana John Mahama, along with previous presidents all paved a way for him to become the next president of the country. He said that the IPP had many policies lined up that will serve the needs of the unemployed and children in the country.

He said that under his administration, each child will receive a monthly stipend of GHC 15, while the unemployed youth will receive a monthly stipend of GHC 100 under the Unemployed Yout benefit policy.

He promised to create an enabling environment that will allow business to thrive and said that income will be generated by creating jobs for the youth. He further declared that the IPP had the best policies that would help small-scale businesses, grow, thrive and create more job opportunities for the youth.

"We will set up a ten billion dollar job fund; and so when you graduate from the university, we'll give you the capital to set up your own business. And we know that, by the time we exit from power in 2024, we would have created 1 million new entrepreneurs who would also create 5 million jobs," he added.
