Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, has said that he is more popular than President John Mahama's ministers.
His remark comes days after Kofi Adams, the national organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), said he did not know Agya Koo.
Mr Adams had stated that he did not like Kumawood movies and that he preferred movies by John Dumelo and Shirley Frimpong-Manso.
The remark did not sit well with Agya Koo, prompting him to fire back in an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM.
He said if Kofi Adams really did not know him, then it was because his television was off due to "dumsor", which he blamed on the Mahama government.
"I don't like bragging, but I can tell you for a fact that not even NDC ministers can match my popularity. They can sit there and deceive themselves ,but we are focused on what we are doing because we know what Ghanaians want and that is change," he said.
Agya Koo last week endorsed Nana Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer.
