A vigilante group that aligns itself with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reportedly seized a vehicle belonging to Inusah Fuseini, the minister for roads and highways.

The Aluta Boys in Tamale seized the minister’s Nissan pickup after accusing him of failing to secure them jobs, according to a report by citifmonline.com.

The boys said whereas they were living in poverty, Mr Fuseini paid GHC150,000 to Shatta Wale to perform in Tamale.

They described the act as an insult to the NDC foot soldiers in the Tamale central constituency and vowed release the car until the minister met their demands.

The move came on the same day that Mr Fuseini, who is also MP for Tamale Central, launched his campaign in Tamale.

At the event, Shatta Wale and other musicians performed before a massive crowd at the Tamale Stadium.
