She entered show business in 1985 and had previously participated in Miss Ghana contents moving on later to represent Ghana in Miss World in Taiwan and won Miss Model of Africa.

It was later in the 90s that she began to be recognized, but she reached full stardom in 2000 after appearing in several blockbuster hits and continues to make her mark in the industry decades later.
