With just 60 days to the December elections, the various presidential and vice-presidential candidates are intensifying their campaigns with a view to winning, preferably in the first round.
Today, YEN brings you a list featuring family members of presidential candidates who are playing a role in the campaign process.
1. Lordina Mahama
The first lady has been a solid rock behind that National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s President John Mahama in this campaign season. She has been very active on the campaign trail.
2. Ibrahim Mahama
The president's brother also supports him from the sidelines.
The wife of Nana Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has intensified her efforts to ensure husband wins the election. She's active at campaign events and in helping her husband capture women votes.
3. Gabby Otchere-Darko
A cousin to Nana Akufo-Addo, he is one of the brains behind the NPP's campaign, working on policies and strategies.
4. Yvonne Nduom
The wife of Papa Kwesi Nduom, the flagbearer of the People's Progressive Party (PPP), has also been a strong supporter of her husband as he looks to cause an upset in the election.
5. Chiefy Nduom
A son of Dr Nduom, Chiefy has helped his dad campaign on the trail. He has also actively marketed the PPP on social media.
6. Mr Agyei Frimpong
He is the husband of Akua Donkor, the flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP). He was by her side when she submitted her nomination forms to the Electoral Commission last week.
7. Samira Bawumia
The wife of NPP vice-presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, has also stepped up her effort on the campaign trail as she looks forwards to an NPP victory in December.
8. Matilda Amissah-Arthur
The wife of Vice-President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur is also supporting her husband on the campaign trail as they look to win reelection in December.
