Black Stars players and officials have arrived in Tamale ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
As part of custom and tradition, the team visited the chief of Tamale, Gulikpe Naa at his Palace.
At the palace, they were presented with tubers of yam and a bull. The traditional ruler also the opportunity to offer spiritual support to the team ahead of the must-win game against the Cranes.
The encounter will be Ghana’s first game in the group stage of their quest for a fourth successive World Cup appearance.
