It will take a while to recover from the shock of losing Madam Eva Lokko, a former Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) director-general and vice-presidential candidate of the Progressive People's Party (PPP).
But we will take consolation in the fact that Madam Lokko was a phenomenal woman who achieved a lot for her country in the time that she lived.
She was, for instance, the first female director-general of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). The first female engineer to be employed at GBC, she helped the network install and maintain infrastructure for colour TV.
Madam Lokko has done her part and we will miss her.
Here are nine pictures of her that you should burn into your memory and relive each time you think about her.
1. She was full of life
2. She loved African prints
3. She wore her smile a lot of the time
4. She was always cheerful
5. She took time to reflect also
6. Her smile was infectious
7. Oh! We'll really miss this smile
8. She would always interact with Ghanaians
9. She worked hard to make Ghana a better place
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
