Koku Anyidoho, the deputy general secretary of the NDC has thrown a jab at the acting general secretary of the opposition party, the NPP, claiming he fell asleep while Nana Addo filed his nomination forms at the Electoral commission.
According to Mr. Anyidoho, Mr. Blay- who was once referred to as Opana by President Mahama- fell asleep at the EC because even he does not believe in Nana Addo's victory.
"Even the last time Nana Akufo-Addo went to file at the EC, Freddie Blay, the acting pretending chairman of the NPP slept during the filing session. “He rather spends all his time using the Daily Guide to advertise President Mahama because he himself does not believe Nana Addo will win this election," he said.
He added that a party with no documented formula on what its game plans when it is two months to a crucial election, cannot be taken seriously.
