Some parts of Accra have been flooded following over three hours of downpour ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s manifesto launch at the Trade Fair Centre.

The rainfall started early Sunday morning until noon. Areas like, Kaneshi, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, etc. all flooded.

Also according to Starr News the main road to the Trade Fair Centre stretching to the Zenith University College area are all flooded.

Meanwhile, the sale of Kalyppo has soared up at the venue of the NPP event.

The Kalyppo craze is still on as the sale of the good is on the rise at the NPP manifesto launch

Some traders also have cartons of Kalyppo, following the recent social media storm which has resulted in a resurgence of the brand.

Reports further indicated that thousands of supporters of the NPP have defied the rains and converged at the premises awaiting the launch of their manifesto.

All set for the NPP campaign after the manifesto launch

The NPP is launching its manifesto and campaign for the 2016 elections today.
