The deputy general secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho has called the opposition NPP the 'AntiChrist' for launching their manifesto on Sunday, October 9.
According to the NDC executive, the decision to hold to manifesto launch on a Sunday will prevent the Christian members of the NPP from attending church and worshipping God.
In an address with the NDC supporters at an Ashaiman rally, Koku Anyidoho remarked that the opposition party is in the service of the devil for launching their manifesto on Sunday. He said that only sinners would decide to launch their manifesto to the people on a Sunday. "They are going to Trade fair to sin. The party has nothing better in their manifesto. That manifesto is the devil’s manifesto," he stated.
Earlier Sunday, the NPP launched its manifesto at the Ghana International Trade Fair grounds and spotted large numbers of supporters throng the area to hear the party executives speak. Former President John Agyekum Kufuor was also present at the launch much to the wild excitement of the party followers.
