A woman from the United States of America who calls herself Nana Akua, who was at the manifesto launch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday, has called president John Dramani Mahama corrupt.
In a demeanor that was very playful, Nana Akua who says she lives in Santasi in Kumasi as a teacher, said if she had had the right to vote, she would have voted for Nana Akufo Addo because he has a good heart.
“Mahama is Ahuofe Patricia but Mahama is corrupt. He does not care about the 'Bibini akola kitua' (children),” Nana Akua said.
She went on to say that Nana Akufo Addo has a better agenda that could see the country prosper more.
When asked about her impressions on the manifesto that had just been launched, she said, “I watch a lot of TV and I read a lot and if you want the country to get better, then you should vote for Nana.”
Nana Akua who says she cares a lot about children said she did not believe the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has good plans for children as they stated in their manifesto that was launched weeks earlier. She also believed the NDC was indulging in dirty politics.
“They lie… they say Nana has cancer but if they were really good people, why do they have to talk so much shit about other people?”
