Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, took to Twitter to slam Nana Akufo-Addo, the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
At the NPP's campaign launch at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Sunday, Akufo-Addo appealed to thousands of his supporters gathered there to take what he called the message of change to every nook and cranny of the country.
He encouraged his supporters to travel across the country and tell people about the good things the NPP will do for them.
In a reaction on Twitter, Dumelo argued that NPP supporters would be travelling across the country on the "good roads" he said Mahama had built.
He tweeted at Akufo-Addo, saying: "How will your people get to those places? I guess on the good roads Mahama has built."
Dumelo has thrown his weight behind President John Mahama ahead of the December election.
His tweet is in line with the government's central campaign message to the effect that it has constructed several roads across the country.
