New study shows an orgasm could speed up the weight loss process.
The findings suggest one orgasm could burn off between 60-100 calories.
The sexual climax leads to a rush of hormones, an increase in blood flow as well as the generation and ejaculation of sexual fluids.
These require energy, meaning one orgasm could burn off between 60 and 100 calories which is 3-5 times the amount of calories burnt off by the sex itself.
The average sex only lasts six minutes and could burn just 20 calories during that period, an equivalent of a few slices of cucumber or one medium tomato. The number is based on the average person’s metabolic rate during sex.
