Battle of the foodian! Chinese food vs the Ghanaian twist

Ghanaians love food. We love our local exceptional cuisines and we are also really picking up on the continental cuisines that are really becoming popular. Some of these foods have become a common part of our menus and we are definitely loving the addition.

But when it all boils down to the basics, what foods are you more inclined to? Ghanaian food or rather….Chinese perhaps? It’s a foodie battle, Ghana’s version vs the Chinese original version:

1. Ghana fried rice vs Chinese fried rice. Ever since the check-check joints hit our streets, Ghanaians have gone mad crazy for them. And why not? It is our little twist to the Chinese fried and let's be honest, with more flavor.

2. Noodles are so popular these days. At every bus-stop is at least one Indomie joint and it looks like the appetite is never going to slow down. Choose your choice.

3. Springs are among the preferred snacks of Ghanaians. Who doesn't love a hot, crispy bite of spring rolls accompanied by a chilled drink. I know I do. But with the Ghanaian love for flavour, who do you think does it best?

4. Khebab. Let's be honest. We win this hands down. Street-side Khebab is definitely a great treat for all Ghanaians, and especially with the Khebab spice! Mmmm, I know you're thinking of it now.
