Paul Pogba’s departure to Manchester United has devastated many people within the Juventus fraternity.
One individual who is feeling Pogba’s absence most is former teammate and close buddy Kwadwo Asamoah.
They were the best of friends at Juventus and always seen together. In fact, Asamoah and Pobga were roommates during Juventus trips and almost all the team photographs had them standing by each other.
In 2014 when Juventus won the Italian Serie A title, Pogba was seen doing some “Azonto” moves during the official victory parade at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, thanks to Kwadwo Asamoah.
Their bond was further strengthened by their African roots. Asamoah is a Ghanaian and Pogba is of Guinean descent but plays for the France national team.
The duo joined Juventus in 2012 under manager Antonio Conte. Kwadwo Asamoah arrived from Udinese and Pogba also found solace in Turin after falling out of favour with Sir Alex Fergusson at Old Trafford.
