Prophet Kofi Amponsah of the Ezra Church of God in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region has declared Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), the president-elect of Ghana.
Prophet Amponsah made the declaration after praying for Akufo-Addo, who visited the church with his campaign delegation.
The prophet prayed for good health for the 72-year-old and committed his campaign into the hand of God.
Akufo-Addo had on Friday held a massive rally in Kwabre East as the elections draw near.
The huge size of the crowd that attended the rally suggested that Akufo-Addo’s message of change was resonating with the people of the region.
He again made the case for Ghanaians to vote for him, stressing that an NPP government would introduce the "one district, one factory" policy, which he said would unleash thousands of jobs for Ghanaians.
