I will drop a new song when the Holy Spirit tells me to - Lord Kenya

The last time Ghanaians heard a new song from former hiplife heavyweight turned evangelist, Lord Kenya was about 6 years ago but he has insisted he has not quit music.

He has explained in a new interview with Showbiz that he no longer takes actions without consulting the holy spirit and will only drop a new song when the holy spirit gives him the green light.

“I came out with my first gospel album when I became born again but I am just waiting for the green light from the Holy Spirit who directs me to drop another album,” he said.

He added, “When I dropped my first gospel album there were those who thought I was doing it for money but God has proven that He has genuinely called me for his work, once the time is up and He gives me the green light, I will drop more gospel songs.”

Lord Kenya has also announced that he is having a prayer packed line-up of events to commemorate his sixth anniversary since he surrended his life to Christ.
