Ovation Magazine Launch of Special John Mahama Edition

President John Dramani Mahama attended the launch of Ovations Magazine's special "Ghana At Work" edition on Friday, October 21st, 2016. The ceremony, which was open only to a select few, was held at the Movenpick Ambassadors Hotel in Accra Central and co-hosted by Sandra Ankobiah and Jerry Adjorlolo.

President Mahama praised and showed gratitude to Ovation International for shining light on the work his government has done over the last four years. Speaking at the event, John Mahama said, “A reputable magazine like Ovation, will speak many more words than many of us can speak even on the campaign trail.”

Speaking at an interview hours before the launch, Chief Dele Momodu expressed his admiration for President Mahama and his work, "He has done a great job. I have traveled extensively across Africa and Ghana is working, Ghana is rising and it is our duty to celebrate Ghana", he said in an interview with Citi FM.

He also brushed aside accusations that his media house is politically biased, saying, “I think President Mahama has done well and as a lifestyle magazine, ours is to cover the beauty of Ghana. It is a news magazine that you can accuse of being biased.”
