The Inspector General of Police (IGP), John Kudalor has reiterated his zeal and desire to ensure social media does not torment trouble in the upcoming polls.
According to the IGP, the Ghana Police will ensure social media doe not become a tool for trouble on election day.
The IGP made the comment whiles interacting with some Muslim leaders in Accra on Monday, October 24.
“We are going to put in place some measures to contain social media,” he said.

Mr Kudalor opined that the police has a duty to make sure that Ghana emerges out of the elections in “peace and not in pieces”.
The IGP has earlier hitter he will be forced to ban social media on the election because according to him can be used to torment trouble.
But president John Mahama some few months ago assured the public that social media will not be banned during the December 7 elections.
