Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the opposition Mew Patriotic Party (NPP), has taken his message of "change" to Kpando in the Volta Region.
Akufo-Addo, supported by several NPP bigwigs, pledged to undertake a massive development of the economy, the type he said would unleash much-needed jobs for the people of Ghana.
He appealed to residents of Kpando to vote the NPP into office in December to enable him implement the party's "one-district, one factory" policy, which he said will guarantee thousands of jobs for Ghanaians.
He also expressed his commitment to fighting corruption in the country.
Akufo-Addo's return to the campaign trail is likely to help put an end to speculation that he is battling with illness.
