The Four Of The Worst Customer Service Personnel Types Staff In Ghana

Have you ever been treated so badly up by a customer service attendant that you wondered if the attendant even knew what her role is? Well, we have. So in the spirit of educating our not-so-friendly attendants, we decided to compile a list of four common worst offenders and added a little "constructive" criticism along with it. We can only hope that one of our misguided friends will read and learn a little from it. And if not, at least they'll know that we're on to them... and we don't like it...at all!

The call center attendants

Three Times Ghanaian Customer Service Almost Drove You Up The Wall

Perhaps the most harried of the bunch, mobile company customer service attendants work long hours and receive relatively little pay. But that's no reason for being rude, ladies and gentlemen. these usually behave as though they're job is to look down customers, instead of actually attempting to help. If you're getting an attitude from one of them and it seems as tho the supervisor couldn't care less, then be like one reader, who came back everyday to complain about the one incident until the attendant got realized that things had gotten out of hand. At which time she apologized an repented from her sinful ways.

Bank tellers

Three Times Ghanaian Customer Service Almost Drove You Up The Wall

Perhaps the most aggravating of the bunch, the last thing anyone wants to experience is a bad attitude when all you want to do is get, or deposit your money. Lately, there's been a trend of using security guards as ushers in local banks,. If you ever got lip from them, nothing cracks the whip better than a raised voice in a bank asking for the manager or supervisor. But this could backfire though, you could get kicked out; especially if you don't bank there.

Petrol station attendants

These are perhaps the most sneaky of them all. Any unsuspecting motorist wouldn't think twice when they initially meet this dodgy bunch, but beware. If you don't pay attention to the numbers on the petrol machine you're likely to get fleeced. They'll usually give you less fuel than you're entitled to, or downright shortchange you.

Store cashiers

This bunch isn't as bad as the rest. Their only vice is that they don't seem to know how to smile. Sometimes it's as though your buying items at their store takes something away from their paycheck. Learn to smile a little, ladies and gentlemen, life couldn't be that bad...and just in case it is, it's sure as hell isn't our fault.
