The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West has expressed her disappointment with the approval of his beleaguered colleague.
Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (Mrs) says the approval of Hon. John Oti Bless as the Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development is a disgrace to the nation.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP believes the nomination of the MP for Nkwanta North in the Volta Region should have been rejected in view of the scandalous comments he made against some justices of the Supreme Court when was a member of the infamous Montie FM panel months ago.

Mrs Owusu-Ekuful doubts Hon. Oti Bless would make any meaningful impact at the ministry. She ridiculed her colleague’s competence and contributions to the House.

Hon Oti Bless had a difficult time before the Appointments Committee of Parliament. His academic credentials raised serious concerns as well as his unfortunate statements about the Supreme Court, causing his approval to be delayed.
