Accra Hearts of Oak’s interim coach resigns

Accra Hearts of Oak interim coach, Yaw Prekoon Saturday resigned from the club citing lack of respect by the management of the club as the reason.

Preko took over the head coach role at the club with three games to end last season and helped them finish third on the league log.

Yaw Preko resigns from Hearts of Oak

The former player was appointed as the assistant coach for Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi before taking over as interim coach on short-term basis.

In a letter to the media Preko said management of the club has failed to accord him respect for him to continue in his role.

Preko was expected to be named as the substantive head coach of the team ahead of the new season.
