Presidential debates to take place on November 8

The Institute for Economic Affairs (IEA) has set aside November 8 as suitable date for the first presidential debates ahead of the December 7 elections.

The IEA reveals that all political parties have agreed to the deabate

The debate is expected to take place at the Radash Hotel in Tamale on November 8, 2016 followed with the vice-presidential debate on November 15, 2016 at the Best Western Hotel in Takoradi.

What this means is that President John Mahama who is also the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be debating presidential candidates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom and independent candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah.
