This tiny house was built in the heart of Seattle, Washington, in 1925. It happened long before such tiny houses became popular in The United States.
There are several different stories behind this house. One of them is that the landlord prohibited building on this land, but the owner made it anyway just out of whim.
But there is another story that is even more popular. It tells us about a couple who got divorced decades ago. They say, the husband bought a house and gave the small slice of a front yard to his ex-wife. He expected she wouldn’t want to live there as there was too little room. But out of spite, she squeezed the pie-shaped home into the tiny lot. The width measures only 4.8 meters on one side and 1.3 meter on the other side which is the narrowest. Can you imagine that?
However, going inside you will hardly feel the size, because it looks really spacious and comfortable. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Now it’s listed for $519,900.
