His name is Jake Amo, he's five years old, and you probably already know him. It's likely that you've seen him in a meme, chances are that you've even used his photo before... we definitely have.

As you probably already know, this picture of Jake has gone viral to the point that people have edited and used it in a variety of different ways.

To the point where popular artist have used it for their albums

Some people have been more creative than others with it

The original photo was taken by Jake Amo teacher, Solomon, who lives in Chicago, Illinois, but comes back to Ghana to volunteer as a primary school teacher.

Solomon speaks of how surprised he was when he realized that the photo had gone viral, "When I first saw the likes on the memes, I thought, What if these people could help Jake?” says Solomon.

When Solomon Adufah was asked his impression of Jake, he said, “He is the tiniest person in the class and he’d always sit next to me whenever we had study and creative lessons. He was very quiet, shy, and had a tiny voice.”

With all the various ways Jakes picture has been altered and used, Solomon decided to start a GoFund to help, not just Jake, but all his classmates too. He said his goal was to help, “child education in rural areas like Asempanaye, [which is] far from the main town”.

Solomon's GoFund has gathered $9,265.00 till date.
