The ministry of fisheries is revealing plans to import up to 10,000 metric tons of fish feed from China in 2017.

Sector minister, Sherry Areetey, says the plan is part of efforts to reduce the cost of operation in the fishing sector stating the decision will be in collaboration with the Chinese government.

Meanwhile, government reveals that it is collaborating with a private company to facilitate a 40,000 metric tons of fish feed mill at Akuse expected to employ about 200 people.
