The Chief of Dompoase, Okofo Sobin Kai II has told President John Dramani Mahama , to accept the outcome of the presidential elections in the event that he does not win.

Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) durbar organised at Adansi Apagya in the New Edubiase Constituency, the chief opined that all Ghana needs is peace. “… the kind of peace that will bring us all back here after the elections.”

According to the chief God has already chosen a leader. “… so we are pleading with President Mahama to accept the results after December 7 no matter the outcome, as has been done in previous elections.”

But President Mahama on his part said he was confident and sure of his prospect in the December polls. He told the NPP that the race has already been won. We are already in the lead.
