Current presidential Chief of Staff, Mr. Julius Debrah, has likened the ruling National Democratic Congress's relationship with the Volta Region to a 'Husband and wife affair'.
Chief of Staff Julius Debrah was speaking while he made a courtesy call to the Chiefs of Asogli Sate, in Ho while he was on his five-day campaign tour of the region.
This was in response to the Togbe Adzie Lakle Howusu, chief of Ho Dome and also on behalf of the Togbe Afede XIV said the people were unhappy with the regional ministers, who only visited during election times and ignored invitations from chiefs at 'critical periods.'
The chiefs, although, also had good things to say. Praising the government's efforts in the construction of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, and the asphalting of Ho Town roads.
