- Donald Trump has been elected the 45th-President of the United States of America
- He confidently predicted his win 28 years ago on a show with TV queen Oprah Winfrey
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton conceded defeat to Republican candidate Donald Trump today morning, Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
The race has been murky at best with a lot of scandals involving the two candidates revealed to the world.
No one though Trump would win, but he did so. He was confident in himself long before he even made the decision to think about running for President.
In 1988 during a live interview with Oprah Winfrey, Donald J. Trump said he was not inclined to vie for President of the United States of America because of how the country was run.
However, when Oprah pressed him and asked him if he ran, he confidently confirmed that he would win because he has never lost anything in his life.

“Well, I don’t know. I think I’d win. I’ve never gone into anything to lose. If I did decide to do it, I’d have a hell of a chance of winning because people are tired of seeing the United States reaped off. If I won, this country would make a hell of a ton of money from those people who dumped their products here,” said Trump.
