Current presidential Chief of Staff, Mr. Julius Debrah, asked both the chiefs, and the people of the Eastern Region to give Mahama his second term in office.
Mr. Debrah was speaking to chiefs on his campaign tour of the Eastern Region ahead of the upcoming December general elections. The Presidential Chief of Staff also alluded to the fact that since 1993, all Ghanaian presidents have had two terms in office and - according to him - therefore Mr. Mahama deserved a second term in office in order to finish his agenda on development.
Mr. Debrah also interacted with members of the general public, market traders, and members of the religious community in Nsawam, saying that this second term opportunity for John Mahama should not be squandered. He appealed to those gathered, asking them to vote for the NDC.
