The woes of EC boss, Charlotte Osei, is far from over as a leading political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, is calling on the supreme court to sentence her to jail.
Richard Amoako Baah argues that Charlottte Osei has carried the orders of the court with disrespect stating that the Evans Nimako and Abu Ramadan case of deleting 56,000 NHIS registrants as well as PPP’s disqualification cases attest to the fact the EC boss acts with impunity.
Meanwhile, the EC boss has once again disqualified the APC flagbearer, Hassan Ayariga after failing to meet the requirements needed to enable him appear on the ballot paper for the December 7 polls.
This comes after Ghana's Supreme Court has tasked the EC to give the candidates it had earlier disqualified a second chance at correcting their anomalies.
The earlier disqualified candidates, apart from Hassan Ayariga, also included nominees of National Democratic Party (NDP) Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom Progressive People’s Party (PPP), People’s National Convention’s (PNC) Dr Edward Mahama.
