The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has vehemently rejected claims by the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party that government officials were supporting and sponsoring violence.
According to the NDC organiser, a “violent” character like the Nana Addo cannot make allegations of violence against another party.
Speaking on Joy FM, Kofi Adams noted that the NDC will never engage in any acts of violence. "Don't trust the NPP when they tell you about violence," he said.
The NPP flagbearer has been accusing some officials of inciting and encouraging violence. He is raising an alarm over what he says is the sponsored acts of violence by government officials in the Bono Ahafo Region.
Nana Addo also chastised President John Mahama for failing to call his minister [specifically, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye] to order for engaging in violence in the Odododiodioo constituency in Accra.
