President John Dramani Mahama has finally opened the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange to traffic.
The interchange will open up the country to its neighbours for improved trade as well as reduce the time Ghanaians spend commuting to work.
The Interchange is estimated to have cost 74 million Euros and was funded by the government of Ghana and the Brazilian government. Brazillian company Gueiroz Galvao Construction was awarded the contract.
Mahama noted during the opening of the project, the construction of the interchange created thousands of jobs and would do more in the coming days.
