Abdul-Kudus Bukari’s dream was to become a medical doctor. But this was dashed when he got an eye defect through which he lost his right eye and retained low vision in the left eye.
Believing strongly in the philosophy of “disability not inability”, and setting a target for himself to always challenge the status quo, Abdul spurred on to top his 2015 graduating Humanities class at the University of Ghana with an incredible FGPA of 3.92.
Abdul, who was among the hundreds of students who graduated this year from the University of Ghana, had his senior high school education at Wenchi SHS in the Brong Ahafo region where he read General Arts.
He subsequently proceeded to the University of Ghana for his tertiary education where he was offered Political Science, English, and Archaeology and took a major in Political Science.
